VDM 100 Club

This is a fantastic way of supporting the museum, with the chance to win a cash prize in our regular draws throughout the year.

How does it work?

For a payment of £5 per month, you will be allocated a number and be in with the chance to win! The draw will take place on 15th of the month or immediately after. 

What are the prizes?

£50 draws will take place monthly, with an additional bonus draw in December. The bonus draw will be eligible to anyone who has entered the preceding three draws.

How can I join?

Please use the Stripe subscription options below, which will begin your monthly £5 payment. 

* By subscribing to join the 100 Club you are agreeing to £5 a month being taken until you give notice of wanting to cancel your subscription. *

Online payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe. The Museum is not informed of your credit card details.

Terms and Conditions

  • The 100 Club is classified as a small society lottery and is open to anyone over the age of 16. Results will be reported to the Vale of the White Horse District Council.
  • To be in the monthly draw you must have made payment the month previously. e.g. if begin your subscription between 1st and 31st January, you will be eligible for the February prize draw, and any thereafter until you end your subscription.
  • Winning numbers and names (first initial and surname) will be shared on our website, social media (please let us know if you do not wish for your name to be shown in this way).
  • The winner will be contacted by email to arrange payment of the prize, through Stripe (account is not required).
  • The December Bonus draw will be eligible to anyone who has subscribed for a minimum of 3 months preceding the draw (Sept – Nov).
  • All personal data will be retained in line with our privacy statement which is viewable on our website.
  • If you want to leave the 100 club, please email 100club@valeanddownlandmuseum.org.uk and we will support you in this process. You will be entered into your last draw the month after your last payment e.g. if your last monthly payment is 1st January, you will be entered into the February draw.
  • Member’s numbers will only be entered into the draw if their subscription is up to date.
  • Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 100 club if his/her subscription renewal remains unpaid for a period of one month.
  • The draws will be made electronically by our independent 100 club volunteer in the presence of a second witness and will be recorded and made viewable by request, or shared on social media.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into the Museum’s funds after six months.
  • There will be no limit on the number of times a participant may win in any year.
  • The 100 Club will be run by the Vale and Downland Museum, which may make reasonable adjustments to the rules from time to time.
  • This club is being run as a fundraising initiative for the museum. If at any point it does not become financially viable to operate, the Museum reserves the right to amend the prize amounts or stop the draws and all associated payments. We will communicate any decisions to this nature fully with participants before proceeding.
  • In case of any dispute, the decision of the Vale and Downland Museum Board of Trustees is final.
